You spend most of your waking hours at work, but often only have one meal during that time. It is not surprising that you often need a little something to get you through your day, and to ensure you don’t get home running on fumes. Especially when dinner is still an hour away because you first need to make it! Having a selection of healthy snacks that you can turn to in the afternoon, or whenever hunger hits, is the key to maintaining good nutrition (and avoiding the trips to the vending machine which often result in unhealthy choices).
