| Local Personal Trainer Releases Health and Fitness E-Book |
| |
(Denver, CO) - A local Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor has compiled an e-book that will help people stay motivated to exercise and eat healthy foods. The 64 page e-book entitled “Get Motivated! 10 Strategies to Stop Procrastinating and Become Your Healthiest Today” contains unique strategies that are geared toward the inconsistent exerciser, diet followers, or frustrated overweight population. Found at http://www.milehighfitness.com/denverpersonaltraining_ebook.htm, the book provides answers to popular health and fitness questions, sample exercises, and practical nutritional tips to use without dieting.
The e-book, described as “impressive” by Marcus Deshon, a local speaker and writer, provides information that will help clarify the dieting and weight loss myths that are oftentimes present in this society. It offers one-stop shopping for people that aspire to be their healthiest today and forever, and takes them step by step from desire to realization. “’Get Motivated!’ helps people increase their levels of motivation, decrease their procrastination mind-sets, and guides them through goal setting, customized planning and provides habit changing strategies,” said the author, Kim Farmer, an experienced Personal Trainer and owner of Mile High Fitness.
“It is a well constructed resource,” said Melody Julye-Bobo, a Group Exercise Instructor. The book is written to be a reference with ‘quick hit’ tips and strategies, yet still be comprehensive enough to be a valuable tool for long term success. Unlike other books, ‘Get Motivated!’ doesn’t just provide methods to get flat abdominals or bulky muscles, it provides practical information on how to break bad eating habits, increase metabolism, commit to a weight loss plan and many other valuable strategies. Her home page at www.milehighfitness.com contains additional tools and resources to help people in their quest for long term health.
Mrs. Farmer said she compiled the e-book after seeing her friends, family and clients struggle with having success with temporary weight loss but fail with permanent weight loss. “Because helping people achieve their health and fitness goals is my passion, I realized the need for them to receive information from someone who has been in their shoes and has a genuine desire to help them,” Farmer said. After helping countless people achieve their goals, she has the experience, education and innate desire to pass along priceless information to help others succeed. The discussion board on her website is designed to encourage people of any shape to log their questions, comments or general discussion points on exercise, diet or any aspect of health.
The e-book format allows people to view the book from the comfort of their homes on a computer. Although the book is not yet available in a printed format, Farmer says that she is working on the printed version. However, the e-book version does make it widely available both nationally and internationally. “It is easy to download, easy to search through and easy to print if needed,” Farmer said.
Just a few months old, her website has already climbed to the 9th position out of 2,460,000 websites on Google for Denver personal trainers. Her experience includes volunteering at wellness seminars, speaking to groups, teaching outdoor bootcamp classes, teaching indoor aerobic and toning classes, and in-home personal training for private or group sessions. She is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is currently working on a recipe book, “Healthy Recipes For Any Day” available in the Nov/Dec timeframe.
